The Pickle Factory hosts a spacey house and broken beat special on 21st July, headlined by the first DJ performance in over ten years from Marc Mac under his legendary Nu Era guise, along with an extended b2b from Slow Life duo Laurine & Cecilio, and The Ghost crew's finest, KRN.

Nu Era is one of the great house and broken beat artists of our time. The moniker of UK production pioneer Marc Mac, also known as one half of 4Hero, Nu Era was behind the truly seminal Beyond Gravity LP in 1994, and a recent series of special EPs on Marc's own Omniverse label which shows that Mac has not lost his touch for deep, spacey house and broken beat rhythms. Despite his legendary status amongst those who know, Marc has not performed as Nu Era in a club for over ten years - until now. On 21st July, Nu Era returns on our warm, crisp D&B system.

He's joined by a long-awaited return from Slow Life founders, deep diggers and lovely human beings, Laurine and Cecilio. We have wanted to invite the Slow Life pair back for a long time, waiting patiently for the right lineup to host them. Both self-confessed Nu Era fanatics, they are the perfect pair for an extended closing set on 21st July. Extended support comes from Manx born, Berlin-bred ├╝ber digger KRN, who set Pickle on fire playing for The Ghost's showcase back in November.
